How do you turn the past into the future?
Founded in Kyoto, Japan in 1929, Nissha began as a traditional printing company, but has transformed to become a global B2B manufacturer providing solutions for consumer electronics, automotive, sensors, & medical devices. To signal their evolution, Chase was invited to modernize their brand identity system on a global scale.
We worked closely with the Nissha team to generate a design strategy that could bring their new identity to life across their diverse global network of businesses.
Strength, craft, & heritage are the core to the new logo design. The letterforms have a weight and presence that communicates the company’s strength and attention to detail. The central “s” letterforms are gesturally related to the flow of a substrate through print rollers.
We created a brand toolkit to help the new look for Nissha expand seamlessly across wayfinding, web design, print ads, & more.
